Sunderland have today sold out their allocation for the for Steve Bruce’s return to the DW Stadium, the Black Cats managed to sell out the remainder of their tickets at 12 p.m.

Well there will be a stark contrast in away crowds for the home tie with Sunderland as they sell out their 4,500 seat allocation with over a week to spare.

The Black Cat supporters are riding a wave at the moment, being eight in the league and they are now dreaming of Europe (look familiar to another Steve Bruce team last year?)

Couple this with the fantastic efforts the Club are making with getting home supporters into the ground and this has the making of the biggest crowd of the season.

Wonder if the BBC will concentrate most of their coverage this week on what could be a well over 20,000 crowd and it not be against a top four… doubt it.
