If reports are to be believed of an approach by Wigan Athletic for Real Madrid’s reserve goal keeper Antonio Adan, Vladimir Stojkovic’s dream of making his permanent move to Latics could remain just that – A Dream.

The reports are not very reliable but granted, but there is no smoke without fire and as Jose Mourinho takes over the reins at the Spanish giant, he could be looking to off load one of his five keepers.

Stojk has not won over many Latics’ fans in his brief time at the club this year, but he is hoping that a good World Cup for him and Serbia could persuade Roberto to give him the chance he craves.
