Citing Brexit as reason for selling. What a crock of shite. They knew this before they bought the club. What is going on at WAFC. Another reason given is under performing on the pitch, HELLO, you lumbered us with an invisible board who have stood by and watched while Cooko destroys the club. Something smells funny here. Worried very worried.

I asked you to post a link to your claim and you failed to do so instead choosing to be vague.

If the proposed sale is due to Brexit, and they end up selling to someone like Dominic Chappell, Ken Anderson or that bloke who bought Bury, then will the 60% of Wiganers who voted for Brexit still think its worth it?

I have looked on Newsnow where, if there is the slightest bit of news, true or false, or complete BS it would be, but there is not a sniff there at the moment.
Let's wait and see, we all know the club will tell us everything as soon as there is something to tell.

This is what is being said on Yahoo.

Are these not supposed to be the safe hands and the people who could take us forward. Well according to Uncle Dave they are.

Looks like Yahoo looking at the change of ownership to stan Choi and got the wrong end of the stick.
Strange nobody else knows about a sale or any reasons behind it.

I think they are selling to Stanley as has been reported. I don't know where the daft excuse of Brexit comes from. These lot took months and months to do due dillegence and they were also aware all through this period that the country was leaving the Brexit club.

More likely they need a reason for selling to appease the stock exchange other than "its easier to dodge tax if choi owns it on his own"

Just cant get my head round this one IEC are a loss making company their account report shows this dr stanley is chairman
Now dr stanley is taking 51% of the latics and another individual who unknown far has i know the other 49%
Now this is the point dr stanley controls IEC and will also control the latics
Now story was the latics where being transferd into an account created by dr stanley so that the day to day running of the latics will not be shown on the hong kong stock market making it better for them to transfer funds into the latics without it being shown on the hong kong stock market as the chinese and hong kong laws are very strict on transfering money from china to country's outside china
Now thinking about it dr stanley (IEC) took out a lone to purchase the latics not directley by himself financially
But in the name of IEC
Now has i said IEC are a loss making company no money whatsoever to play about with needed a loan to purchase us how did the FA or league allow this takeover to happen
And if you look at or try to find how much wealth dr stanley is worth you will draw a blank very alarming
Maybe someone bought us on the cheap to try make a quick buck which selling us now will be very hard as i see it who would want to

You can draw whichever conclusion you like. Those wanting another stick to beat the club with will find one and those wanting to give them a chance will find reasons to do so.

None of us know, but the 'fact' is that we aren't for sale at all our ownership is being transferred from one name to another. Like Whelan moving us from Whelco to Dave Whelan Ltd

So IEC are selling WAFC to IEC's chairman who will continue to be IEC's chairman?

Sounds like some internal deal going on, probably to legally avoid some sort of tax due.

I doubt its going to change anything, and I don't see how Brexit would affect anything going forward - its not like there's been millions of Euros pumped into the club or the area over the past few years - more likely a proper Remoaner edited the yahoo article!
