Calling all budding writers, Wigan Athletic Football Club are going to be publishing a book in the next couple of weeks and they want your thoughts.
Put quite simply they want you sit down, make a brew (or open a can) and write down what some of your memories of last season!
The club is producing a memorial book of last season’s wonderful finale in the Barclays Premier League and we would like your memories of the season, but focusing on the feeling we all enjoyed during the final game of the season against Wolves.
The best entries will then be published, along with your name and a picture!
The Book, provisionally entitled ‘BELIEVE – the inside story of an extraordinary season for Wigan Athletic’ will be on the streets in time to become every Latics fan’s favourite Christmas stocking filler.
So whatever your memories of last season, but especially the feelings you felt that day against Wolves, be it the game itself, how you celebrated afterwards, what the game meant for you, how you celebrated the 8 Seasons in the 8th minute – the quirkier the better – send them to directly to the club.
There is one restriction, entries should be NO LONGER THAN 150 WORDS – anything longer will NOT be considered.
If you could include a high resolution photograph, your name, and your age, and e-mail to believe@wiganathletic.com, it will make this book even better.
