Well, Bradford have sold out their allocation in the away end and so the Club have been forced to instill a ‘no pay on the night’ for the Capital One Cup match. Wigan Athletic will play Bradford City for the first time in this competition and we must make sure that we are not outnumbered by the Yorkshire outfit…. the press would have a field day.

The club have announced that because of a massive demand for tickets at Bradford, they have had to place a ‘no pay on the night’ system as they do not want away fans trying to get into the home ends.

Wigan Athletic fans can still purchase tickets, but they now will have to have had a purchasing history/season ticket to buy seats in the home areas.

The advise is to get tickets sorted as soon as is possible and not to leave it until the last minute, as although the ticket offices will be open to sell seats to people with a purchsing history, the queues could be very long on the night.

Capital One Cup ticket sales now restricted to supporters with a previous purchasing history.

Due to Bradford City having now sold out of their allocation of 5000 tickets, it will no longer be possible for Wigan Athletic supporters to pay cash at the turnstiles on the evening of the game for the Capital One Cup fourth round tie at the DW Stadium on Tuesday 30 October, kick off 7.45pm.

The match will now be ‘previous purchasing history only’ and therefore Wigan Athletic encourage all fans to buy their tickets in advance of the fixture.

The ticket office will be open until 5pm today (Thursday), 9am-5pm on Friday and on Saturday 10am-3pm and then again after the game versus West Ham United. Tickets will also be on sale on Monday and Tuesday between 9am and 5pm.

Tickets will be available on the night of the Bradford City game from the East and West Stand ticket offices to supporters with a previous purchasing history. It is not uncommon to experience large queues for cup games therefore the club encourages everyone to buy tickets in advance to alleviate ticket office queues on the evening
