We all remember last seasons Wembley triumph when Ben Watson stamped his name in Wigan Athletic folk law! Who thinks we can repeat the amazing feat of last season in the FA Cup?

Looking at this season it would be a brave fab to bet on a repeat of the cup success. But who knows with a good draw maybe we could defy the odds and go on another cup run.

Before this though, Premier League Crystal Palace stand in the way!

With a Premier League scalp possible it should be a great game for the punters. Looking at the odds, home advantage makes us favourites at 1/1, whereas Palace (who will most likely have one eye on premier league survival) are down as 13/5 with the bookies to advance to the 5th round.

Looking at scorer markets you may fancy a repeat of the 1-0 Ben Watson first scorer at odds of 55/1. Or if you are looking for shorter odds then how about new boy Nicky Maynard to bag himself his first Wigan goal at odds of 7/4, maybe he could score first at 6/1.

With odds of 100/1 to lift the trophy it looks like the odds are against last years triumph, but in the grand scheme of things, promotion back to the premier league is a much more viable target this season.

Putting the FA Cup to one side there are many other betting opportunities on a different kind of platform to match betting. The market for online football slots is growing and sites like www.gamingclub.com/nz are offering a game called ‘Soccer Safari’ .This is a feature packed slot from micro-gaming that is themed on a slightly bizarre version of the 2000 World Cup in South Africa. The players are comic animals such as giraffes, lions and Meer cats, there is even the occasional rhinoceros playing a match official. This is designed for fun living slots players, but with prizes of up to £50,000 you can win some serious money too.
