Warren Joyce is to have immediate surgery after a medical checkup, ruling him out of the Fans Forum scheduled for Wednesday.
Wigan Athletic manager has asked for a postponement to the fans forum, due to take place this Wednesday. After a routine medical checkup he was advised to have immediate surgery.

Wigan Athletic manager Warren Joyce has had to postpone two supporter-related events this week after undergoing a minor operation.
Joyce was due to appear on BBC Manchester’s Football Hour tonight, Monday February 27, before attending a Fans Forum at the DW Stadium on Wednesday, March 1, alongside Wigan Athletic Chairman David Sharpe and Chief Executive Jonathan Jackson.
However, following a routine medical examination this morning, he has been advised to undergo surgery immediately.
Both events have been rescheduled for March 27 (BBC Manchester) and 29th (Fans Forum).
Tickets for the Fans Forum will all be valid for the new date on March 29th, with refunds available for supporters not able to attend any longer. Please contact the ticket office for information.
Jonathan Jackson said: “We are genuinely sorry for the inconvenience this will inevitably cause, but naturally, medical issues have to take priority above all else.”
