It’s back by popular demand. Latics2Amsterdam’s Charity Race Night where everyone’s a winner.
You will be able to buy horses with the owners of the winning horses winning prizes, have a bet and win hundreds of, well, pennies, as well as joining the fun and games.
On June 1st the Latics2Amsterdam team will set off from Barnsley’s Oakwell Stadium to take up the challenge of cycling to the Amsterdam Arena and the home of the mighty Ajax.

L2A will pedal their way across Yorkshire to Hull Kingston Rovers’ Craven Park Stadium from where they will continue on to take the overnight ferry to Rotterdam and resume their journey into Amsterdam.
In total they will be cycle around 145 miles over the two days are currently undertaking a training programme to prepare themselves for this challenge.
The challenge not only includes cycling but also includes fundraising. They are each committed to raising a minimum of £1,000 for Prostate Cancer UK who fight to help more men survive prostate cancer and enjoy a better quality of life. They find answers by funding ground-breaking research and lead change by raising the profile of the disease and improving care.
This race night which will offer Coral Cheltenham offers, has been organised to raise money for the cause and this will be the fourth time Latics2Amsterdam have particatipated in the cycling event, raising over £75,000 over the previous three years.
