Every time new clubs are promoted to the Premier League we seem to see the exact same thing, they buy a group of mix-matched players from the clubs being relegated and hope that they can use those same footballers and achieve a different result

What’s the definition of insanity again? So whilst it’s refreshing to see Huddersfield try to buck this trend and turn the premier league odds in their favour they have gone a really different way about it.

Many of the players they’ve bought this season haven’t just been relative unknowns to people outside of the business but literal unknowns to even the most prudent of scouts. What they’ve done is buy players unknown and unfancied by anyone else on the planet and so far, it’s gone pretty well for them, sitting in relative safety at 15th in the league. Do you think you can name their starting 11 though?
