The fixtures are released and Wigan have a baptism of fire on our return to the Championship as August throws up a very stern challenge.
Starting off with Sheffield Wednesday at home on August 4th we then travel to Aston Villa, with Rotherham in between for the Carabao Cup.
The month doesn’t get easier as we play more sides tipped for good finishes in the form of Forest, Stoke and QPR.
September looks to be the month to really make strides, whilst the fixtures formula has given us Blackburn and Bolton on 28th November and 1st December. But WBA and Swansea away for the Boxing Day and the 29th December.
