Roberto has admitted that he would like to sign Tamudo in the January transfer window after being thwarted in the summer due to his agent’s meddling.
Cockney Latic broke the news two weeks ago that Tamudo was close to leaving Espanyol due to behind the scenes shenanigans by the player’s agent. Latics were looking at the striker in the summer but no deal could be reached and the move collapsed.
Bobby though has been monitoring the situation between the club and their player as negotiations over a new deal collapsed and the striker expressed his desire to move on.
The Barcelona based club are reportedly that miffed that he wants to leave that they could even be prepared to rip up his current contract and let the player go (as reported by us a couple of weeks ago, click here for the story).
Bobby said in his usual straight manner: “Tamudo is on our list and yes, I would like him”
