Playing to win has already raised much needed funds for the Wigan Boys and Girls Club and if you haven’t read it, you really should. Once Griff gets his arse in gear and writes a review I am sure you will all want to hurry on to Waterstones to get yourselves a copy.

Before you do though, see if you can win a copy by entering the Cockney Latic ‘Playing to Win’ Competition. Just answer this simple question and email your answer to editor@cockneylatic.co.uk:

What Club was Dave Whelan playing for when he famously broke his leg in an FA Cup final?

a) Blackburn Rovers
b) Wolverhampton Wanderers
c) Wigan Athletic

The winner will be drawn out at random from all the correct emails received before the deadline of 11.00 p.m. Friday 13th November 2009.

Good Luck everybody.
