Wigan Athletics WN1 Club shop in Wigan town centre, Cockney Latic have three shirts each signed by  Roberto himself to give away.

Wigan Athletic, in conjunction with their partners, Vandanel will be opening a new town centre shop today in the Galleries, naming it Latics WN1. The lease is for an initial 10-week period taking us into 2010 with a view to having a permanent presence after Christmas.

Following the installation of the shop at the DW Stadium and the revitalised online presence through www.laticsshop.com, the Club are looking to make it easier than ever before to follow the Latics.

Offers today include, home shirts being reduced by £10 and with more great offers and incentives, Latics WN1 is sure to be a real crowd-pleaser, just like Roberto’s team!

Latics WN1Latics WN1 will open its doors for the first time this Thursday to coincide with the town centre Christmas lights being switched on. It will then be open for all supporters until the end of January before the Club and Vandanel evaluate its success.

The official launch will take place on Monday 23rd November with Roberto Martinez with every 10th customer that day winning two tickets to the Latics’ home game versus Sunderland on Saturday 28th November.

Latics Commercial Director Paul Hunt says, “In the three years I have been at the Club, supporters have said they wanted a club to be proud of and a store in the town centre would be further affirmation of that. Hopefully, fans can support this new venture and make it a blue and white Christmas”.

Neil Burke, Managing Director of Vandanel is equally excited by the project, “Whilst Vandanel have been involved with Wigan Athletic we have supported the Club as much as we can. Latics WN1 will give fans easier access to merchandise and we look forward to welcoming as many of them through the doors as possible over the initial ten weeks.”

Tickets for the Latics’ fixtures will be made available, players will be making appearances and special offers will be given to all shoppers with a Retail Partners opportunity to be offered to other retailers to partner the Club.
