Tickets are now on sale for the Wigan Athletic Supporters Club Annual Dinner on March 19th 2010
The Wigan Athletic Supporters Club Annual Dinner is being held in the South Stand Suite of the DW Stadium on 19th March 2009 and is themed around our Freight Rover Trophy victory, some 25 years ago at Wembley Stadium, when we conquered Brentford by 3 goals to 1.
Tickets are now on sale via the Supporters Club website (click here), by calling in the Supporters Bar before any home game or by ringing Spike on 07816 150 106. Prices start from £30 for single seats and a discount of 10% will be given for full tables of ten being booked. All tickets must be paid for up front and it will be a first come first serve basis.
Latics fought their way through five northern area games before eventually beating Mansfield Town on penalties to reach the Wembley final against Brentford. It was a dream day for us as we swept our southern opponents away, winning 3-1 with Mike Newell, Tony Kelly and David Lowe on the score sheet.
This Dinner has the makings of being a classic and shouldn’t be missed; Roy Tunks, Graham Barrow, Alex Cribley and David Lowe are just a few of the names that have already confirmed they are coming and the rest are thought to follow suit. The Full team that day was:

Entertainment will be on during the whole of the evening, with a chance to meet and chat to the players being a must. The dinner will start around 7.30 p.m. with a three course meal and coffee, followed by a questions and answers session with the guest players and the night will go on til 1.00 a.m. with a band and DJ.
All in all it promises to be yet another great evening with the Supporters Club and no worries of work next day as we’ll be playing Burnley at home on the Saturday. This event will sell out and so it is advised to gst your tickets as soon as possible.
