A more positive account would have stated that despite the woeful performances served up recently the crowd have very rarely been negative and continue to get behind the team in adversity, the referee tonight was pretty awful missing a hatful of fouls against our players, for his first game in months Bongs debut was a pleasing one where he seldom put a foot wrong whilst we scored two disallowed goals in a contest where we deserved at the very least a point. Ref was fair, I heard not a hint of any fans behind the team from where i was sat or by indeed the booing from 3 stands at half and full time. 2 disallowed goals that were offside, that’s why they were disallowed, Do you get that?? If i was flagged offside outside the box and rattled it into the top corner afterwards it is still offside, no brownie points. Other than Maguire’s late, late shot, i don’t remember the keeper having a save to make. Of course you are going to bum Bong because thats the only glimmer of hope you have left.
