As I said earlier it was common knowledge from about a week back (leaked) Jones was off.
I’ve kinda mixed feelings tbh. He was shipped out on loan when he should never have gone but it was all about wages and then he was hit with a few injuries.
The latter part of last season he was arguably our best player. It’s a shame but if any club knows about cutting your cloth accordingly it’s us.We’ve felt the wrath of overspending twice and a 3rd time I’m in no doubt would see us off.
If it means kids and loans (even though I’m not made up with that) then so be it we’ll all just have to lump it for a year or two.
But we all know, away days ain’t just about winning I think every proper fan knows that.

Jones would have been a first team regular 3 seasons ago had we not signed a certain James McClean. It was obvious who would be the regular starter out of the 2.
