Look there’s no harm in us selling players that’s the only way we’ll ever get on an even keel.
The Hughes one was a strange one as it started off £5 million up to a possible £7 million, all bullocks because Hughes had a £3.5 million release clause which for me was low.
Hughes’s agent will have negotiated that so I’m sure we had no say otherwise he simply doesn’t sign an extension and we’ll eventually get nothing.
So let’s see what Tickles is set at. Goalkeepers (and good ones) aren’t 10 a penny and their very hard to come by.
If his release clause is hit he’s off I’m certain of that. He’ll look at the stagnant club he’s at, total lack of investment and plan and think, do I really wanna be here or a level up and onto bigger and better things.
It’s the devil and the deep blue sea, keep hold and pray of cash in now ?.
If the rumours are true it would not surprise me in the least the mystery club is Hull because that keeper of there’s has cost them 2 games and they’ve money to spend
