I mentioned that, would 3 or 4 experienced players actually make a difference when he tactically sets up the way he does ?.
There’s no way on this planet the majority of those players that have come to the club in the summer are Maloney targeted players.
Most have little or no match day minutes under their belts and I just cannot see us watching reserve games hunting for 20 year old prospects.
I honestly can’t fathom it, Maloney might simply be a poor manager but right now he has an excuse “Those players are not the players I targeted”.
If only he could sum up the will to play like we did at the end of last season were players were given licence to run with the ball, we might just shock a few sides but his belt & braces style of football doesn’t allow for that.
As it stands we need to get behind the manager and players it’s no one’s person fault it’s a combination of numerous owners and managers that have lead to this.
