If the huge rumour is true then Stones will be leaving in Jan for Oldham. I’ve heard on loan but by the way Maloney treats this young lad don’t be shocked if Danson cashes in for peanuts.
Apparently Hugill is been wrapped in cotton wool right now due to an ongoing niggling injury so I’m guessing that’s why we never saw him late on but are we forgetting about Stones again ?.
So the Stones debate?, I will try to clear this one up as it’s an important one based on our forwards strike percentage.
Some say he’s simply not good enough and there’s an argument to be had with that statement based on his recent with some saying he looks knackered he’s not fit but that’s not the problem it all boils down to how you play the lad.
In our managers eyes he prefers to sit Stones on the bench and not use him at all
Or
Bring him on for 20 minutes and his instructions will be:-
“Run Forest run !, chase everything regardless if it’s 40 yard away in the corner or if 3 defenders are playing keep ball just run run run run run run thus burning this big lad out at warp factor 7 speed.
Hes a lump not a greyhound the type you get the ball to and around the box and let him use his strength not to act like a chicken with it’s head cut off chasing up n unders.
My whole point to that is horses for courses
THATS MALONEYS FAULT NOT JOSH STONES’S
The same Maloney who regular asks Hugill who’s not 10st piss wet through to play upside normally an older much stronger, wiser defender and to out muscle him when Hugill is a poacher that’s clearly as day but Maloney ? naaaaaa.
Jordan Rhodes came on and he went straight into the box and his first 2 efforts he was inches offside. Was he asked to run round like a tvvat at 900mph ? no he’s instructed to go in the box were he can do damage even at the age he is.
Again for the upteenth time our manager insisted on leaving Taylor on the pitch for the full 90nminutes when everyone could see he’d tanked and my personal opinion is, he’s bang average.
He had an absolute sitter of a header bang in the middle of the goal, 4 yards out and doesn’t even hit the target. I’ve seen well enough of him to comfortably say he’s a grafter but 100% not a goal scorer.
This constant chopping and changing
This constant subbing so early into 2nd half’s when there’s absolutely no fookin need and the miss use of our forwards says it all about Maloney.
And I bet you lot haven’t though about this next comment:-
Maloney’s argument for the constant chopping and changing to our starting 11 boils down to our recent Sat Tues overloaded schedule so he rotates to rest and keep fresh.
That’s fine but 2 players he rarely rotates scored tonight
Aimson Kerr
It’s clearly shows he can’t see the woods for the trees .
It’s time for him to leave the club
Legend ?, yes manager most definitely not
