This is exactly my point, look at Stones, we’ve Hugill who’s either injured or out of form and Taylor who’s not lit the side up both loanees while Stones is out on loan.
Kai Payne, there’s another, get him on the bench more often don’t loan out and give him minutes, in at the deep end I say he looks a good prospect.
Were simply developing others teams youth with the belief their 20 times better than our own and 9 times out of 10 their not. And the big problem is with loanees, we don’t make any money from developing other sides youth.
Hughes Tickle and Aasgaard are prime examples as to what can happen when you give the young lads a chance. If you put minutes and game time under their belts the can either massively improve or go the other way. That’s how you become self sustainable not a side full of loanees.
I’ve seen two loanees who I think they are v.v.g James and Chambers after that I really haven’t see anything that turns my head and that’s from dozens and dozens of loaned players.
Let’s face it, big clubs do not send their best youth to L1 they tend to go to the Championship so those at Latics need to give their heads a wobble if they think we’re cherry picking the best. These clubs are sending them out to the shop window.
Let’s say Taylor scored 15 – 20 you’d have a host of clubs eye balling him and I know one thing,we wouldn’t put the coin down , too tight.
The reason why were littered with loans issued their cheap and a quick fix. I would like to know from these clever people how they intend to make us self sustainable if we sign average rejected players and loanees ?
What about our own ?,
We’ve gone to the dogs, it’s all about us who just keep painting over it in the hope that no one will know.
Self sustainable ? What a p*ss take
