He’s been very very quite in the last couple of games. I’m not sure if it’s our tactics to hammer Hungbo till his arse falls off or he’s like Lang and he needs a change, a new challenge and his minds on were he’ll be in the next few weeks.
Saturdays game was a much needed 3 points and a well deserved one. Nothing to write home about, nothing fancy but I suppose in our case our home performances are bland boring nothing to write home about.
I suppose it’s all about getting the points any which way we can because we all know, were far more dangerous daring and entertaining away.
Now the burning question, will Maloney keep Carragher in the middle or move out wide ?. He has a choice because will he be prepared to drop either Aimson or Sibbick, which ?.
I thought Carraghers distribution was outstanding. No Harry Maguire rolling the ball out with his studs his decision making was done asap no faffing around and then to round it off with a goal and a clean sheet ?.
Aimson’s made too too many costly blunders of late and if were to eventually become self sufficient then the likes of Carragher need to play more, not all the time granted but def more minutes.
Finally, it’s not looking good for McManaman. Its looking like he’s out of favour these days and I think this might be the last season we see him at the club.
