Harry Maguire had a shocker last night! Fortune brings absolutely nothing to the side, he is easily hassled off the ball and spends half his time on the floor! Last night he had a great chance to put his foot behind the ball and get in a shot on goal but chose to shield it and try to turn 2 defenders, the feeble attempt that he eventually attempted was blocked as most his efforts are, utter garbage! The manager knows best though so no point in opining!
He’s been superb in the other 5 or 6 games he has played for us though.
Well Fortune had our only shot on target last night so he clearly brought something to the team that nobody else managed to do.
I like his effort and his work rate but he isn’t going to get us goals and as I’ve said, he can’t play with Clarke as they are too similar. One of them needs to start with Mckay or the lad from Liverpool alongside.
