Unlike Macmanaman, Vaughan, Gomez & Gibson, I’d say he’s a quality player who would add something to any side in the Championship.

Hes been injured, but now sits proudly on the throne and rightful place of any Latics striker who knows where the goals are, on the bench and on Saturday behind Vaughan, Windass and Garner in the pecking order of the lonely striker, watching as we dont trouble Carson for 90 minutes (not that he would have done under Saturdays cicumstances).
McManaman too seems permanantly glued to the bench whilst our attacking midfield struggle to provide service to our lonely striker (not that he would have provided any service under Saturdays circumstances).
