I know I’m in the minority here but I never really had much of an issue with what Chimbonda did – his timing was undoutedly poor & it isn’t the done thing but if he wanted to go (which was what I was disappointed with after we’d given him a break over here after his turbulent later time in the French league) then to me it doesn’t make a whole host of difference whether he’d said it after the Arsenal game or waited until the week after
The conduct of Bullard a few weeks earlier & even more so that of McCulloch the season after was far worse & much more disrespectful to the club in my opinion – yet these 2 are hero worshipped :blink: :blink: :blink:
