I bet someone has done the maths, 4k of £20 tickets for away fans, would probably outweigh the extra revenue from the increased latics fan base for the game at £10 a ticket.
That’s an excellent point and one that I had overlooked. I don’t think there will be 4k of Wolves but even if there is only 2k then that is probably a lot more than the additional casual Wigan fans we could expect.
Either way, the additional revenue for this – maybe £40k? – will not change the club’s life but equally, if the club were to turn down turned £40k of revenue anywhere they would be slated up hill and down dale.
I also think the Swansea ST offer of BOGOF is a fantastic idea. Especially when there are 4 of us that sit together :)
