I am a little worried now that even with everyone fighting fit and back we may not see the form demonstrated early doors. At that stage Cooky was attempting to play the same game as last season and had the momentum of that fabulous season with the side. Had we not been blighted with injuries I do believe we would still be in the top half. The injury crisis changed all that with squad players not being able to replicate the form of the players they replaced. That’s resulted in a different set up and a different more negative approach to matches. Are the players coming back capable of playing to a different slower more defensive way than when they were having success is a really hard one to speculate. I pray they can or the manager can return to a more positive high pressing game more suited to them or our pain is going to get greater.
