If Powell signs I’m sure it will be so we get something for him in the summer.
We’ve now 13 players due to leave either out of contract or loan ends in the summer so expect lots of movement in the next 6 months.
As for Powell ?, we should have cashed in in the summer. Turning down £8-£10 million for me was bad business. If he doesn’t sign he’ll leave on a free which is mind boggling for a club the size of Wigan

In hindsight bearing in mind his injury prone record etc it may well have been a good idea to have cashed in but my god without him we have been desperately lacking in the creative department. Also there wouldn’t have been many fans at all who would have supported the sale.
He is class and needs signing up asap.
