Wonderful sentiment I agree but playing half a season and 60 mins in the ones he does make doesn’t justify a long term mega deal as that’s what his agent will be angling for. I hope he does commit and gets on top of his persistent niggles. Another season blighted by this and age makes it more difficult to recover will tarnish his reputation albeit a way over the top one.Fit he would be a massive asset in the championship, talk of Prem quality ….a mile away!!!
