I blame Cook, I don’t blame the players as every blue moon they pulled out a performance to show us all that thier more than worthy of a spot in this Division.
But also, I’ve seen more than enough crap as well on the field watching Cook chop and change on a weekly basis to the point your wondering if he’s pissed and reading the opposition’s tactics board.
Dropping players because others are injured was the last straw for me. I’ve never heard that in all my years of watching the game, the biggest load of utter bollocks, he just didn’t fancy Grigg.
I know I’m harking back again but, Martinez taught the players to play his system and you learned to fit in with his style of play his way (right or wrong) or your out.
I mean, who would have ever thought of using Boyce as an attacking wing back ?.
Cook is a good manager granted but not at this level. There’s no shame in that but hes shown us all his punching above his level and League One or Two is were he belongs.
It’s simply crazy to totally change a set up to suit injured players there’s just no method in his madness and leaves players confused andwondering what’s next.
So come Saturday I’ll be praying for Cook and us to get it right like he did against Villa and Blackburn because I want us to win and succeed in the Championship.
But if it’s anything like Preston away ?
God help him, the abuse will be that bit more fierce due to the sale of Grigg.
