How and why theyve let it happen? Its probably been a done deal for weeks. These things dont work like a church social auction. There are contracts to be negotiated and agents fees,sell on fees, medicals. I think it has been calculated to be announced right at the death just as an excuse not to replace Will. As for the fee, thats another can of conflicting worms just made up for the press to appease the fans too.
