Hi all dont post but his really got on me tits.
Watched the match live and thought hard done by.
But my point on this post is regardless of my point, how can “neutral” pundits on the match of the day give a commenty like they did???????
Ok we lost 5-0 but bloody hell how can they not mention the terrible ref, decisions.
Bet they would have had they gone the other way……..
Lets imagine had we been 0-1 up and the ref had decided that berbatoves backward arm in the box was a red card….
Do you tink that it would have been dismissed as easily as it was on MOTD.This programe is a disgrace for “lower clubs” cause we would have lost anyway so it doesn’t matter what decisions we get……..
F**koff we are wigan and we can upset even the mightiest of clubs given half a chance.
Today we were not and that is due to the ref.
DOWD you are a complete tosser and deserve every ban you get (althought that wont help us).
Drunk and pissed off.Its hard enough in this league without having bad refs like we had today……….

I thought Bob’s words after yesterday’s game just about summed it up. He said that all we ask is that our players challenges are treated the same as those by Utd / Chelsea / Arsenal players. We are in no way a dirty or indeed over physical team ( I often wish we were ) but we have now had three red cards in the last two visits to OT. He also said if Dowd was consistant and showed a red for every Sammon like challenge , then we would end up with 7 or 8 a side games. When someone like Bob , who is not known as a bad loser , speaks with such anger then hopefully people will take note. The standard of refereeing in this league is a joke.
We now have to turn this into a positive. Firstly Dowd has shown himself to the football world to be either totally incompetent or more likely , just bent – and we must now use the injustice to fire the side up and get a result at Stoke.
