Now normally, an increasing points deficit, strikers who can’t score, a defence who can’t keep a clean sheet, half the team on the treatment table and the other half badly out of form, and, a manager who picks his tactics from a lucky dip would give a cause for concern.
But never fear, Darren’s magic fairies from the bottom of the garden are going to save us!
Oh and we’re gonna sell chicken & magic mushroom pies from the next game!
I don’t think the penny has dropped with Darren Royle that as we slumber into relegation, his position and credibility becomes untenable. Its very noble to stand by your manager for so long but now its got to be him or Cook to save his skin.
Season ticket sales could slump dramatically next season as a lot of fans won’t forgive watching us go down without a fight, and once those fans have gone, it’ll be very very hard to get them back. But then again, would we be bothered, or even notice the difference when Darren Royle goes?
ExactlyAre you milking this?
We were a joy to watch last night and if we keep the ship steady they’ll come through. But there is a huge gulf between under 23s and Championship level where you playing against seasoned internationals.
If I was Cook tho, I’d be looking over my shoulder as it looks like we’ve found our new manager.
They must have been talking to vincehill

I think he’s realised he’s behind Naismith in the pecking order. What’ll he do when Naismith ousts him from the Scotland team as well?
Anyway it creates more space on our treatment table for another Cook crock
We’d do better if we signed Bob Hope
Paul Jewel was the right man at the right time and every gamble paid off. Signed some cocky sod from Peterborough for peanuts and he turns out to be Jimmy Bullard, etc etc.
Sadly karma has turned against us now and every signing turns to shite.
But the stats don’t lie and Cook has to go because he can’t do it at the moment and as we say every week, we’re going down from a poor league with him in charge.I would swap all my points for a goal from a striker.
Tonight was a magnificent performance against a team that was physically bigger, but certainly not stronger than our lads.
We really let them off the hook as it could and should have been more than two.Out of a number of stand out performances I thought McGurk was superb, and probably the smallest player on pitch.

Well I’ll not be complaining if he helps us get up the table
I’ve no Ikea how he’ll fit in
…could help join things together
