You should have been more prepared for the drop like us Darksiders who have been saying it for the last 3 months or so ! I will relish the drop and cant wait either !

You didn`t enjoy it for long
Someone who takes the time to trawl back through threads over a year old = Sad bastard!
They all get booed off on a regular basis!
I’m taking it that you’ve missed the current rumours about the Dutch striker as well as MacKay’s interview that 2 players are close to joining?FA Cup goal apart, I’ve never been the biggest fan of Ben Watson but since coming back from his more recent broken leg he’s been dire & I don’t think merits a place in the squad so I’m behind the club’s decision to get money for him now as opposed to losing him for nowt in the summer – any money received goes back into the club’s coffers whether it be to balance the books or fund an incoming move
Maloney has obviously made it clear that he won’t sign a new deal at Latics & whilst I’d like to see him be involved in the squad until he leaves because I know what he has produced in the past, he hasn’t produced that level of performances (consistently) for close on 2 seasons now so his loss is not going to be the massive one it would have been back in 2013Well obviously! Any links?
Yet not even a sniff of a rumour of any players coming in yet? 10 days to go and it does NOT look good from where I am sitting!
Just you see, it will be a last minute job bringing someone in like the crocked Andy Johnson! We desperately need at least 2 strikers and 2 defenders, the midfielders we have are fine in the right configuration ( Managers job! )Listen, we were well out of our depth in the Prem and Whelan knew that. The very fact that we lasted 8 seasons, won the FA Cup and played in the final of the League Cup is an enigma in itself! During the relegation battle that ultimately ended up with us relinquishing our grip on top flight football I wrote on here that the ‘Double Drop’ wasn’t out of the question, I was lambasted for suggesting the possibility of such a thing! People have to realise that the glory days are over for now, quite possibly forever!
I’d have Garner but the price will be silly. Nob Enders say he’s been off the boil for a whileThat could be something to do with the fact that he has been out injured since 26th November and isn’t due back for another 4-6 weeks!

He is like the kid at school who was hardly ever on the team sheet but when he did get his chance ran around like a lad possessed trying too hard! He has a sending off challenge in him most games due to being too highly strung! Went for the ‘Hollywood Finish’ on Saturday at 1-1 when he had options either side of him which prompted a comment from someone sat next to me…”That lad is starting to believe his own hype” One player shouldn’t have to be putting in all the effort himself, it should be a team effort! He will more than likely be a religious man and so “God does love a trier” !
0-0
A mate of mine is an Everton fan and he tagged me in a status yesterday which read something like this…..
“Tried to ignore the Everton score till the highlights came on the website at midnight… Didn’t succeed. I don’t know WTF is going on, but something smells of fish and it ISN’T Alan Partridge…
Massive fan of Kevin Mirallas. Let me rephrase, I WAS! Seems like he’s a bit of a Cock. Leighton Baines, remember him? quite good at Penalties? Saying that, someone should of stepped up and sorted it…
Not the Everton way that. We’re sinking… Phil Moss – Your Prophecy is coming true”Then one of his fellow fans added this….
Graham Williamson “I like Martinez don’t like all the stick he’s getting but I like Everton more and he is going to take that team down”Things are certainly going tits up for RM whether you are a fan of him or not!
There’s trouble at t’ mill!

I thought the first half was poor apart from our usual 0-10 min flurry! Obviously got a bollocking at halftime and the changes made a massive difference and we could have nicked it towards the end! It was good to see some guille back in the team during that 2nd half but I am still concerned about our lack of strikers!
Who is the 1 in? Ridgewell counts for nothing in my opinion. Six weeks and injured is a fuckin waste of time!
Who are these pegs, though? We’ve just let Tavernier go, who was first-choice right wing back for a month. And that five-man midfield is losing some flair with Espinoza and Maloney departing. Are we going to see a return to Boyce at right wing back? Or at centre half, with Perch going out there? Could Barnett please replace Kiernan? Are Wastson, McCann and Cowie too similar to play together? Will we ever see Huws or Kwist again?Probably a typo with Watson but not far off the mark! :)
Did I just hear that right?? The team third in the Premier League play 4-2-3-1???? Surely not.
The Prem is a whole different beast! The championship on the other hand is a league were 4-4-2 has reaped the benefits more than any other formation! Now if playing 4-4-2 consistently for several games on the trot doesn’t come to fruition then it can be deemed not the answer for us, but until then……………….
You do realise it’s possible to play two up front without rigidly lining up as 442 don’t you? No, probably not.
Yes I do, not sure why you are trying to be condescending with me? I mentioned once before that formations can be misleading and ambiguous the best of times but we have been playing an actual lone striker with no foil or support for quite a while now! Only in the last few games have we seen this change albeit without a recognised striker! We can’t have it all I guess!
