Would ‘have’ ! It’s ‘have’ not ‘of’! My pet hate when it comes to bad grammar!
I am just back from a major bender in Manchester ( No Canal Street jokes please! ) Good win yesterday, I thought we were doomed when they went 1-0 up but good team effort ( No individual kudos please! )Let’s just hope that we can get at least 7 points from the next 3 games!
Could be some Derby déjà vu at weekend! If we get another battering off them I feel that it will set the wheels in motion for a little meeting in the office Sunday or Monday morning! If we just get beat by the odd goal then maybe just a final warning, mentioning that the next 3 games on paper are very winnable and anything less than 6 points is not good enough! By the way, how are you guys who commented on this thread earlier feeling now? The same? I reckon we could be languishing worse than 16th after 15 games eh ‘jrfatfan’!!
What I said at the time was bang on, things have obviously changed since and consequently my opinions have changed. You can only comment on how things are at that moment in time, hindsight is a wonderful thing.
I don’t feel embarrassed about saying those things, but apparently if we beat Derby on Saturday and go on a 8 game winning streak, you will be. :P
I’ll be over the Moon not embarrassed! What a ridiculous thing to come out with! I was merely pointing out that my concerns were and still are warranted! I was asking whether the ones who thought I was being too negative back then still thought the same/ had the same opinions as they wrote! Anyone thinking I am having a go is way off the mark, I am just asking the question as well as adding what I think may happen anon!
I might moan like fuck on here but at least I go to every game and yes I do get behind the team, it’s just so frustrating sometimes but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
You appear to be absolutely dlighted by the fact that we’re still struggling. What a pathetic suggestion!
I thought Forshaw had a pretty bad game last night!
I’d have to disagree. I watched him pretty closely on Tuesday night and he has a really good touch and a quick mind, a few light years quicker than some of his team mates. One for the future, make no mistake.
I also watched Riera closely who did precisely nothing. He lost 95% of headers. He was offside three times where any pro footballer, let alone striker, should not have been caught. His positional sense was rubbish. He was lightweight in the challenge. The old chestnut about a striker not getting service doesn’t apply here. At least Fortune ran around and looked for it whilst delivering nothing.
Well I beg to differ! If you watched him closely you would have seen him giving the ball away cheaply with errant passing and being caught in possession! Against Brentford he was far worse than any of their midfield and we are the ones who are supposed to have pulled of a transfer coup! I said the same about Cowie and now some are starting to agree with me on him and the same applies to Forshaw re giving the ball away. Looking brighter and quicker than that set of players we currently have is nothing to get excited about trust me!! ;)
So what is worse? A really shit set of players and a shit start to the season or a set of average players, some half decent and a shitter start to the season than the really shit lot! I would say that the latter circumstantially is worse!

Who has told Carson to all of a sudden start booting the ball as hard as he can, often straight to the opposing keeper? Long often over hit diagonal balls from the defenders are another unwelcome tactic! I bet most of the players are afraid to voice their opinions because of fear of being frozen out!
Well I clean the windows of Dave Whelan’s butcher’s uncle’s niece twice removed and she said she doesn’t like football and is there any chance I can do the windows once a month instead of once a fortnight!
Two words….Still shite!
I bet that does Taylor’s confidence the World of good or is he injured? Had 3 decent games on the trot has that lad!
Boyce and Huws will start if fit!
Maybe if we dumped a few tonnes of sand in each penalty area and he played barefooted it may bring about some improvement! I am at the point where I would accept anything different being tried at this moment in time!
