Funnily enough I took my youngest daughter on this game and it was her first ever match as well ! She has never been back and has no interest in football. She has also since told me that she was secretly up for Preston as a few of her then school mates were Nob End fans ! Nothing wrong with Lucetti’s goal and they should really feel hard done to but hey ho and all that bollocks !

I’d say taking loans is a decent policy in January as the players really wanted are unlikely to be available.Nick Powell isn’t a ‘proper signing’, but he’s doing alright!
I don’t mind players on loan as long as they know where the back of the net is ! If we are to have a chance of going up we MUST get someone else in who is meant to be a striker ! Maybe a couple !
To be fair to Sunderland, they are pretty much on their arse at the moment and almost certain to go down, I just can’t see them turning things around. It must be so frustrating being a Sunderland fan because as a club they are too big and too good for the Championship but simply not good enough to compete with the majority of the established Prem clubs ! They will always get large crowds because up there you support 1 of 3 clubs. Can you imagine them competing in our catchment area ! They would be on a par with Blackburn I reckon, Blackburn shading it on the ‘History’ front of course ! You can’t really blame ‘Mutty’ for following our rugby team either because the poor lad has to have something to cheer about !
