Lmb has worked his arse off to get supporters to sit back and just enjoy the ride
Can tell you now that work will also be done with latics/Maribor and uefa (as it was in belguim ) to iron out any ticket issuesYou flying off the handle aint doing anyone any favours
We all know that as supporters we get the shitty end of every stick in everyway possible.
However this has been diabolically organised regarding the distribution of the few tickets available .
642 tickets availableCorporate ones to mates etc accounted for 102
Sales via queue and phone sales (which was shambolic to say the least ) 390
Exceutive trip tickets , still in the bank , numbering 150
The club announce an overnight trip with the players for under £500 an hour after the last ticket is sold .
Not quite exploitation but supply and demand of the highest order .
The price is reasonable after the outrageous prices for Belguim and Russia , maybe a little competion has brought the price into more reasonable linesThe club are aledgedly hands held by Maribor over extra tickets whilst supporters sit nervously wondering why there is an uneasy silence coming out of the club after travel plans have been made .
Is the supporters liason officer dependent on which girl (or ticket master operative ,how helpful were they this morning ? ) you happen to drop on after a call bypassing the phone system by pressing the wigan warriors number and acting numb ?Because the silence and ” we will let you know attitude ” today is awful
Agree its been handled very badly , again .
However , more tickets are being negotiated and will eventually go on sale to anyone needing one
maribor wont want empty seats and the police wont want supporters travelling without tickets .
The plus point here is its still a way off with plenty of time to accommodate everybody’s needs

Ive pencilled you in for an overnight stay
The drivers on the sub contracted coaches will have used up their hours on the wednesday , therefore only being able to leave their base around 1am (a 9 hour break after a school run sounds not far away ) getting to wigan at the new time of 3am
Would be surprised if anyone got a penny .
If they did shearings would start a flood of claims
They changed the pick up time , if anyone wasnt happy they had chance to book alternative transport

Only a full refund and a full explanation as to why the departure time was moved so far it not only had no chance of the 730am crossing , but due to traffic and having to stop , they also missed the 1015am too
Damage done , move on with valuable experience gained because whatever compensation is offered ( I will guess at £20 ) it wont be enough
Think you will find that as shearings is a good advertiser with the lep do not expect much of a knocking for them
Dont want to get into a ” our trip is better than your trip ”
But ….shearings need to take a good look at leaving a 15 year old lad stranded at the ground and returning without him
Our young organiser on coach ” A” got him on board and home safe ,
The driver and anyone checking a passenger list needs a serious look at themselves
