I have a meeting with Jonathan Jackson, Uwe and the other website editors on Wednesday.Please can you add sensible questions below and I will endeavour to get them asked/answered for you.
1. We are one of the lowest scores in the Championship, what are Uwe’s thoughts on this and what are his plans to address the situation
2. Have financial restraints influenced Uwe’s decision not to make permanent signings in this January window
3. If not then why does Uwe prefer to buy in the summer
4. Is Uwe’s squad rotation a tactical approach to each game or is he still trying to identify a players potential / best positionAlso, i am planning to go to the Cardiff match so does he think we will score a goal :silly:
Looked to me like Huddersfield did their homework and tested Ali with a few long range efforts… Paid off in the end as I think he should have saved that one.

Personally for me I think Coyle destroyed what was a great opportunity for us going into Europe for the first (and quite possible the last) time.
I thought the opposition was poor not even up to championship standard and was bemused by professional and personal opinions of us doing well against these so called great teams.
In summary I thought we were shite and if we were playing the football we are now under Rosler we would of pissed that group with ease!
Signings have been hit and miss for me.
The most worrying part is that now we have removed Holt from the wage books there is suddenly a gap for 4 players to slot into the wage budget albeit on loan…. How much was he on? I don’t put too
much blame on Coyle for signing him he was a proven goal scorer at every level but it was clear why Norwich let him go from day 1 when it looked like was running in quick sand.His legs had gone which I suspect Norwich had noticed before deciding to sell their fan favourite.
As for Coyles overall managerial stint with Wigan…
Under performing in the league, terrible dress sense and a tactical approach that was a hundred miles away from the attractive attacking football he promised us from day 1 cam pm;y ne described as a shambles.
I think he will have to drop down the leagues to get another chance and I understand why.
Was not best impressed when he got the job, but got behind him non the less. Glad whelan took the decisive action when he did! If he does get another job then I pity the fans of that said club.

Back on Friday. We must have one of the worst pitches in the league. God help it now!Rugby doesn’t damage the pitch as much as the footy does. That said having two teams playing on the same pitch that is, as you say already in poor nick, will do more harm than good.
I blame the weather !! :silly:IMO, in previous seasons our first home game has always been played on what looks like a crackin pitch….. And that is with the egg chasers playing on it throughout our close season.
The Chelski poser did one thing right leading to our first goal .

Funny how we all see players differently! How can anybody pick fault with this guy.
I thought josh looked class when he came on. Always had his head up looking for the next pass, and that through ball for fortune was sublime! Let’s hope it’s not a one off and he gets better with every game he plays.Doesnt contribute much does he?Agree, he looks poor to me. McEachran came on and looked class so nothing to do with fitness.

5 months in the EPL and we will be a soft touch -have a feeling we may turn them over !I seem to recall Everton fans saying somthing similar earlier this year. Let’s hope cardiff players adopt the same attitude :woohoo:

No more loan players for me, if we get promoted we`ll have no players to put a team out next season when all the loanees return to their parent clubs. Imagine, Uwe would basically have to buy a new team putting them together to keep us in the premiership doesn’t seem the right thing for me we`ll be at a disadvantage straight from the start.After the Doncaster game was a bit concerned tbh. Thought all these players going or being linked with moves had maybe effected uwe and the players. But it was a one off as the game yesterday was up to uwe usual standard. Pretty sure uwe knows what he is doing and we certainly won’t come to any financial harm under whelan.
I for one hope he stays, thought he was ok once he found his fitness. A bit slow when he first came bit the more games he played the better he got. This is a position we need improvment in!
