He’s a good enough keeper, but he’s no Gordon Banks
They’ve been shielded from reality for a while
Wouldn’t it have been better with “Have a Knight Day”?
A good point, well made!
I’ll rise to it.
It’s the exclamation mark at the end that is relevant.
We don’t say Blackburn! or Oldham!
Typical arrogant Liverpool storyline that everyone will want to rush off to Liverpool because they are Liverpool.
Let’s figure this –
We are allegedly being offered 7 million for the best keeper we have ever had and who has saved us so many times, while we don’t really have a replacement (sorry, Polly).
Ali is possibly being offered a move to a club that is struggling, with a promise of being number 2 who has been bought to provide a bit of competition for Reina.
I wonder what the outcome of this could be :P¡ʇı puɐʇsɹǝpun ʇ,uop ʇsnɾ ı
1-0 – Ben Watson – I always said he was good
When I first read that the other day I couldn’t help thinking it could be an Oldham supporter.
I hope that the police are not that gullible to presume having “wafc” in a user name automatically means you support Wigan Athletic. :ohmy:Whoever it is, I hope they catch him or her.
Sorry, John, but it took me about 5 minutes to find his identity using Google. There is even a news site in Sussex (thisissussex.co.uk) that has named him.
He describes himself as “Shit gambler, shit boozer & a Wigan Athletic fan”. He unfortunately is one of ours, to our shame.
We have our own problems
Crawley player racially abused by Wigan fan
I had originally hoped it was the Post jumping on their own agenda bandwagon to link the Wafc with us, but unfortunately looking at other reports in less biased reports they are correct. The tweets do seem to originate in Wigan.
If you are a member of this site then can I just say you are not welcome at our club.
Is it still here.No
Sorry,that should be garswood
hardwood my arse :lol:Damn predictive text.
I used to text my kids about their Mum. It always came out as “nun”.
Shall I just move it into the Music Forum?
goodpost goodpost goodpost
Unfortunately not. Had we progressed we’d have been ball 4 with Leeds moved up to ball 3 in place of Bradford. Therefore, we’d have been playing Chelsea in the next round.Would we? How were they numbered?
If purely alphabetically then the draw as it stands is
5 v 4
8 v 6
7 v 2
3 v 1If we were 8 we would have played number 6, Norwich, at home.
However 3 v 1 would have been Chelsea v Arsenal, so that draw would never have happened ;)
