Sympathy vote time here – but when I was little (and we are talking 1950s here) I always wanted my Dad to take me to Anfield. He always promised, but never did. I really wish he had.
Enjoy taking your kids to football.
Yes – they will get bored, want to know when it’s orange juice time, want to wander off.
But they will be so grateful later as you will have given them a life time obsession.
And if they’re not you can always leave them out of your will :)
Got your ticket for the big game against Bradford yet?
But that’s the point actually.
It ISN’T a big game for us. It is for Bradford. I’m not being condescending here, but that’s just how it is.
Say for example Warriors drew Batley in the Challenge Cup. Which team’s supporters would show more interest?
Tuesday’s game is League Cup
Take issue with “running out of ideas”.
He’d run and chased, and was out on his feet.
I was just going to post that:
“It wasn’t about Wigan today, it was about us not using the ability we’ve got. We can’t keep giving the ball back to them.”
It never is us playing well, is it?
We on the other hand have only sold 1,500
Can’t read anything into that.
I’m not bothering going to the stadium to pick up a pre-booked ticket, when I can either get one on Saturday, or pay on Tuesday.
Besides – it is a big game for them, so they will have big support. It’s nothing much for us. Yes, it would be nice to have a cup run, but it’s not a big game.
I think I’d pay to watch that. You may get the chance.
The LFL (Lingerie Football League) is extending its franchise into Europe in 2014 with one team scheduled for Manchester.
Ouch!
Sorry to disagree, Vince, but this guy has a long history of banning orders. This wasn’t just getting carried away. He deliberately went there while banned and then got so tanked up he alleges he can’t remember what he was doing. He has chosen to ignore previous trouble he’s got into, has learnt absolutely nothing, and has continued to act provocatively to the authorities.
Four months is nothing. He should have been charged with breaching his ban.
And as for sympathy for his family. They know full well what he is like. If they really cared they’d have done something to sort him out.
I have no sympathy for him or his family. Just wonder how much the hard man he’ll be in gaol.
How do you know I’m not Sudworth, and am arguing with myself?
Have you forgotten to take your medication again George ! :)[/quote]
Damn – I knew there was something
How do you know I’m not Sudworth, and am arguing with myself?
See my previous post :)
You have just been reeled in George !Probably. But I’m also trying to keep this board somewhere where matters relating to Latics in particular and football in general can be discussed, and it hurts me (genuinely) when I hear people say they wouldn’t come on here because of idiot postings.
Genuine or multi – this sort of thing does no good at all.
I don’t see why I have to answer to you. But I will – very very few.
And frankly I don’t give a monkeys what you think.
