He certainly kicked the door – not sure he kicked “through” it. He was always throwing things around, mouthing off …..etc etc
I have to be fair to Warnock – I met him a couple of times when I was stewarding in the tunnel, and he is a really really nice guy. Honestly. One of the nicest managers I met (Lawrie Sanchez was the worst – a nasty piece of work – I quit before Premier days so don’t know about the current crop).
It’s just that when that whistle blows he loses his head. I agree with Sammy, that he was probably speaking off the cuff at the time, and now realises the impact.
Thanks. Just checked and Prescot Cables (where AFC Liverpool play) are at home next Saturday, so looks like it will be at Robin Park. :)
