You have to click on the “i” symbol for scorers, but otherwise fairly comprehensive.

Interesting that their supporters are blaming Redknapp. Quelle surprise!
I’d bet they weren’t blaming Redknapp or even thinking of the possible consequences when he was bankrupting the club by spending a fortune on players and wages.[/quote]
Very very true. Maybe when people say “Oy Whelan – get your hand in your pocket” and “Miserly b*****d should pay proper wages and transfer fees to get the best” they really ought to stop and think where they want us to be.
Excellent report Mighty.
I went to a couple of games in the UAE a couple of months back and it is good fun. Well done Latics.

Read it properly, EL. They were banned for setting light to the flares. Eye-wateringly dangerous ;)
You are the one that’s taking the piss.
It’s illegal and dangerous. End of story.

Is this site built on Joomla?
If so it appears a common problem but there is a potential solution at http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=404&t=265868&start=120 post on 13 May by Danielbprobert
I can only say what the PL does and that is that gate receipts are retained by the home team – that is why we have these questions about allocations of away tickets, that only half of the potential is on a sale or return, otherwise the away team have to pay up.
In the PL rules are clear instructions that regular returns have to be made to the League about the tax position, and that tax has been paid. Looks like the SPL have closed their eyes.
I’m glad we cleared that up ! :Swho cares where you sit it isnt like we sell out every away game there will be spare seats everywhere
I thought this thread and the arguments herein are related to the game at Bolton – when actually we did pretty well sell out.
I know it’s a difficult concept for much of this current generation, as it requires a basic standard of literacy and numeracy, but on the ticket are printed a row letter and a seat number. If you sit in that seat then the chances of a problem arising are significantly diminished.
Do you think Lee McCulloch’s available?
With sensible management that controls expenditure you don’t need a salary cap – just sound finacial management that runs a club like a business.
There is a very good example of it very close to home.
I actually think this puts paid (at least in the short term) to the possibiltiy of Rangers and Celtic coming into the Premier League. The PL will not want a financial liability round their necks.
As well it would loosen the argument for having separate England and Scotland international teams. The SFA as ruling body for football in Scotland would not allow it.
And that’s before we get into Scottish independence.
