You’re all assuming juusi will be back regularly. We are now light at keeper level and I suspect will be looking for an emergency loan at least

In the advisory referendum, is that the one?

Fans calling for two strikers and we play without any.

Remind me again: when did the manager’s job became a democracy?

I think we’re more or less saying the same thing

We may be in a position to have safe standing if we can redevelop the corners although it would be very limited I imagine.

Why would we redevelop the corners? The ground is never filled anyway by us or the lodgers.
Because there is nowhere at the DW you could have standing without knocking a stand down and rebuilding it. Nowt to do with crowds just cost.
My point being that there is no reason for the club/stadium owner to lay out that cost just because some (maybe even a lot) of people want to stand.

Not sure of the score, but leave the EU won just as Donald did so that’s the will of the people.

If people don’t want to be on the wrong side of a democratic vote then move to North Korea.

Is that why Trump supporters go round with Confederate Flags? Because they have got over losing? ;)

I could also point out that Clinton got more votes than Trump, so the will of the people was that she should win.

“Nigel Farage warns today he would fight for a second referendum on Britain in Europe if the remain campaign won by a narrow margin next month.

The Ukip leader said a small defeat for his leave camp would be “unfinished business” and predicted pressure would grow for a re-run of the 23 June ballot.

Farage told the Mirror: “In a 52-48 referendum this would be unfinished business by a long way. If the remain campaign win two-thirds to one-third that ends it.””

                    It ended 52-48, didn’t it?

Its logic gl, you nearly always find that when a manager loses his job his backroom staff go also. Barrow comes as part of the job here .

So maybe he’s good at what his part of the job is?

Use your loaf,if he was such a shithot coach Whelan would have made him gaffer.

                        No. Read what I said.

They are different jobs. One is to analyse what the opposition are doing. A completely different job is to decide what to do to counter that. He’s an analyst (maybe), not a fixer. That’s the job of the manager, taking his data from the analyst.

One point gl, the managers haven’t kept him on the board have. The managers have had no option but to work with him ……

                          Source?

Has it ever crossed anybody’s mind the the reason he hasn’t been is because, heaven forbid, he’s good at his job? I don’t know if he is or not but neither do the people wanting him out.

                            Exactly what I’ve said.

I suspect he’s a VERY good observer of what’s going on with the opposition – “look, boss, their left back is dropping deeper”, “the midfielders are doing blah blah blah”, “the striker is being pulled to the right”, and so on.

It’s up to the manager then to decide what to do with that information. Of course Barrow himself could suggest but perhaps he’s no good at that. We have enough people on here who are great experts at what’s going wrong, but I suspect most wouldn’t be able to use that to good effect. If he could provide that then he would be manager.

A string of managers have kept him on, and so he must be adding value. And don’t give me the “he’s Whelan’s spy” – I’m just not buying that – that managers will happily keep him on with no payback. He is clearly good at something that managers value.

Why an extra £7 on the day? Fuckin rip off!
Will the ticket office be doing 30% more work that day …..

Yes. Because they’ll have to deal with the typical Wiganers who will roll up at 5 minutes to kick off and then moan and get agitated there’s a queue. If someone is going then get your ticket earlier. If you only want to get it on the day then be warned that it’ll be more expensive.

I know it’s his birthday but shame this is beind done on a weekday. Would have been a good curtain raiser to our next home game.

I’ll just have to take that route home and go have a look.

Oh. I thought it was being done for my birthday ;)
