Well, John.

Being of a certain age that grew up with this song I was ready to be hypercritical of a remake by someone who, in my view, would struggle to get through the metal detectors at Manchester Airport.

But I was blown away by this. Possibly (I’ll stick at “possibly”, let’s not get carried away) better than the original.

Thanks for sharing.

I do not want my country run by unelected bureucrats in Brussels, for that reason alone ive voted Out.

This ‘better the devil you know’ nonsense is pathetic, grow a pair and vote OUT.

Unelected bureaucrats?

Like the House of Lords?

MEPs are elected by proportional representation which means, God help us, that even UKIP get seats (even though Fraage doesn’t attend most important meetings, eg on fisheries, but gets his expenses).

Does Westminster have a proportional representation system?

Which is more democratic?

These rumours are fine, but does anyone REALLY think clubs are influenced by a player having a (fine) song?

I think he needs to be tested more for any “bigger” club to step in.

If it’s a fake then someone has put an awful lot of work in. They’ve done all the divisions too.

I’ve seen that list too. Looks authentic.

£2 million?   :woohoo: :woohoo:

They’ll be offered what they are offered and if they don’t want it we’ll move on.

These deluded fools seem to think he is key to our plans.

I’ve never heard of him tbh, and I don’t think we’ll be busting a gut to buy him. I guess he’ll be OK (I trust that if we are looking at him), but the idea that they can dictate a high price because they have a deluded view of the world is laughable.

….tickets on general sale today boys and girls.
Only West Stand open for home fans, so if you are thinking of going, get your tickets or you may be disappointed!

Although online it looks like allocated seats when I phoned (there seemed no option for Under 5s) I was told it’s unreserved seating. So that reduces the capacity a little bit.

They seemed to be taking it seriously back in early December…

That said, Barnsley are the form team in that division in 2016. League matches played 23, Won 15, Drawn 5, Lost 3.

That sort of form over a season would see them not only “Smash the League” – they’d get 100 points ;-)

Just have one last look at the league one table 2015-16, after 46 games, its that fekin thing that counts.

All, this if they, if we, what if malarkey is a load of tosh.
I think we are also talking about a team here that IMO, will still be in league one next season. B)
As I said – the 3rd division’s form team in 2016.
Whit woo!
I do agree, JR.

On a FB group I’m a member of someone has said League One’s team of the season is Barnsley because they were facing relegation, won teh JPT and promotion (via play-off).

To me the team of League One is the one that finished number one.

We’ve had it as an away kit. It was part of our original colours.

Promotion used to be two up, two down. And the automatic places still are – finish in the top two and you go up. Nothing’s changed there.
The play-offs have introduced a little element of a “last chance” – finish in the third to sixth places and you may go up.
Finishing third doesn’t give you an automatic right to go up. Everyone knows that. You should have finished in the top two. Just as it always was when it was two up two down.
It’s fine as it is (minus the trophy of course).

With the financial clout they have they have had very poor seasons. Other than the League Cup win (a competition for Reserve teams) and the FA Cup (even WE won that!) all the other things you quote are failures.
