Like in most the games this season, we do enough to win them, the difference with Rotherham is we should win.
I said this about Ipswich as well, but as has been mentioned quite a few times, certain things went against us, but rather than get on with it we moped around for a bit and allowed them to benefit from their good fortune.

quick question?? if we pick anything up on the day in Maribor would we be able to leave them on the coach at the ground? i.e cigs/booze at the zulte game the coaches were locked and no one in sight had to rely on the old leave it in a bush method. which did work but was a bit wet to say the least :)

I think some eyes are going to be opened when these guys get on a ‘day trip’ like this. It is nothing like a package holiday guys.
I don’t get some people, it is stated as clear as day that there 641 tickets, so that leaves 500 even when they keep back 150 for the Club VIP Package (which is exceptional value when you compare it to the Vital flight in and out at £285*, add a top hotel £90, drinks reception £35 and ticket you are at £425…. so just an extra £50 for the boasting rights of going with the players having photos and other opportunities).
How many Corporate/Hospitality Season Ticket holders do you think there are? 20, 30, 40….. No, I would guess there are around 400 of them, all of which pay nearer £1,000 a year not £300, and so they should get first dibs.
Then we get to season ticket holders this morning, do you suggest the do first come first serve, or wonder who is going to be most upset first and give them a ticket?
Either way, there are 640 Latics fans going to watch the game, history says that no more tickets will be given, but that is not to say it is dead in the water. But I would say that you are only going to know if there are extra tickets after it is confirmed Maribor fans are not taking up their tickets and that would probably be after they play Kazan on November 28th at the earliest, probably the first week in December.
*I am not slating this trip, just using the flight cost as it is a charter just like the clubs will be, but I would guess the plane may be a different class taking the players!!!

According to Vital there will be a press conference at Everton on Tuesday to annouce Martinez as their new manager, they are claiming to have found out from a contact at the Liverpool Echo.
They go on to say the Echo will be running the story online on monday.Ha ha ha ha

It shows a lot about a persons intellect when they resort to insults.
I don’t know what it says about one that resorts to insults when trying to make themselves to be right when the comment they are insulting the person about is on plain view.
I didn’t see any press conference last Tuesday (21st May 2013) from Everton announcing Martinez as Manager.
I didn’t see the story run in the Echo on the 20th or yesterday the 27th.
I haven’t seen a press conference a week later on Tuesday the 28th May 2013 announcing Martinez as Manager.
Will it be next Tuesday?
All in all the information was cack, as I stated.
So really, who is the gobshite?My reaction is that Martinez has found it too hard to get the players he needs in to play the style he wants to play, whilst still slashing the budget. The irony is that if we had survived he would have been in a better situation to move forward next season.
If Everton is where he is going, then I think it would be £2 million well spent and they will do well as long as they give him the time. He will definitely have a much bigger budget to work with and I wish him all the best where ever he goes (as long as it isn’t Stoke).I am really getting in the mood for next season, some mouth watering reunions and a league we should be able to compete in.
As it won’t be on in the pub we should get more travelling fans as well and possibly some on the DW as well.
19th June fixtures, 3rd August start I genuinely can’t wait now.
