Palermo have made an offer for Mauro….
24 January 2013 at 5:46 pm #101145Apparently this has been announces in Italy.
Stupid move if true, but I cant see it myself.
We need all the fire power we can get.
24 January 2013 at 5:57 pm #101148I’d be happy for him to leave if we have a replacement coming in as like Salford says we need as many fit players as we can get.

We need all the fire power we can get.Why keep Boselli then..?
Garbage.
Get rid and get someone else in who can actually do a job.
And I really hope nobody’s gonna reply with the old “he hasn’t been given a real chance yet” rubbish.
25 January 2013 at 2:52 pm #101225His replacement should he go is in the pipeline !

When is it ever as simple as getting rid of one striker and suddenly pulling in some fantastic goalscorer out of thin air?
I think Boselli has had more than enough chances to prove himself although in the half season he played when he came here and then some of the chances he has been given this season the service has been sh*t to non existent.
25 January 2013 at 3:10 pm #101234His replacement should he go is in the pipeline !Before we get too excited remember that Jason Scotland scored a pan full in the championship before joining us.

It’s not simple at all, didn’t say it was.But I firmly believe, no matter how many chances we give him, that Boselli won’t be able to cut it in the Prem – so why keep hold for the sake of squad depth and cup games?
I’ve seen a lot of him.. friendlies, cup, league etc. and he just seems to have nothing about him – especially in the system we play.
We may as well get what we can for him now, and take a punt on someone else.
It’s not like we’re in any position to just sit pretty with what we’ve got. We need to try something..

I bet he would score more goals than Boselli and at a fraction of the cost ! Risk it for a biscuit ( From Aldi ) I say ! :)

You’re not on your own in that opinion but I disagree.
I genuinely beleive it is a case of if you feed him he will score.
Hopefully we have a feast ready for him tomorrow.

That is a big a problem as our leaky defence Salford. You’ve only got to look at our attempts on goal per game, it’s far too low. Unless we improve the service then my guess would be it doesn’t matter who we get in, they won’t score many.
26 January 2013 at 12:40 am #101278The sooner he moves on the better it will be for him & us just not worked for him,the sooner he goes it will free up a place for a replacement

Salford, boselli in my opinion hasnt been give a proper chance at all,he his shouldering a lot of the blame for the dross that is around him. When he 1st came he made 8 league apparances and some of them where as subs.
Now then compare the apparances of boselli from him coming to the present day with that of the apperances of Dik santo and the goals he has scored…………..how much of a chance has he had and hes no better -
