6 October 2009 at 12:49 pm #10252As Garswood says it’s an absolute disgrace.
Presumably the highlights will be on somewhere later in the evening, so I’ll be like Bob & Terry * trying to avoid the result until then.
Lets hope England don’t get F***** *** again !!!!
* Ask yer dads.
6 October 2009 at 2:29 pm #10257I’ve just trawled through the tv schedules and it doesn’t look like we’ve even got the highlights. BBC’s only got Football League highlights (no MOTD), nothing on ITV, Sky’s got Wales U21 and Rep of Ireland v Italy. Nothing on Eurosport. Looks like the money obsessed deadlegs at the FA have cocked up again.
6 October 2009 at 2:52 pm #10259Nothing to do with our FA. The Ukraine FA sell the right to international games played in Ukraine. They sold them to Setanta to start with but when they went bust neither Sky or BBC could afford what they wanted to show the game. The Ukraine FA have now given the rights away to this company, and will then take a large %age of the money paid by subscribers.
It’s only England anyway……who cares ?

10th game down!
7 October 2009 at 1:06 am #10298Fecking hell, no wonder neither Sky or BBC could afford the coverage. Setanta bought the rights to the game for £5m according to The Times. No wonder they went bust.
Also on a related note, Sky werent interested in the Under 21’s game to be played at Coventy on Friday night so the rights have been bought by…………Chelsea TV
