We were away at Liverpool when the Harry Kewell song was sung mate. It was in the 3-0 game when Crouch scored, and the fire drill song has been sung at us numerous times so I’m not sure we can take the credit for that one no matter how funny it is.
Good read as always though. I’m sure filmoss will be along shortly to point out any other errors.

My memory isn’t what it was, but I’m sure I’m right about it being the home game that we lost 4-0. I’m going purely off the Decfember date, which is when the show goes out. Either way, the context still works.
As for Phil, I take everything he says with a shake of a chamois. ;)
Oh, and thanks.

It was December. December 3rd 2005 to be precise. Someone was down injured and Harry Kewell was stood in front of the Wigan fans waiting to take a corner for what seemed like an eternity.
We did sing “Are you watching Michael Shiels” which may have been in the 4-0 home defeat when they went a goal up as he was in Hindley at the time. That one didn’t go down well with the eternal victims.
