17th SUNDERLAND -17 38
18th READING -27 31
19th ASTON VILLA -37 31
20th QPR -32 2629 March 2013 at 11:40 pm #106661My predicted results – but I am rubbish at predictions:-
30/03/2013 NORWICH(H) 2 1
01/04/2013
07/03/2013 QPR(A) 1 1
13/03/2013
17/04/2013 MAN CITY(A) 0 2
20/04/2013 WEST HAM(A) 1 1
27/04/2013 TOTTENHAM(H) 1 2
04/05/2013 WEST BROM(A) 1 1
07/05/2013 SWANSEA(H) 2 1
12/05/2013 ARSENAL(A) 0 2
19/05/2013 ASTON VILLA(H) 2 130 March 2013 at 12:41 am #106667I think it’s going to be so close this season almost too close to call? Looking at everybody’s fixtures though, reckon we will just do it, again!!
Norwich – 42
West Ham – 41
Newcastle – 40
Southampton – 37
Wigan – 37
Villa – 37
Sunderland – 36
QPR – 33
Reading – 2630 March 2013 at 1:06 am #106673Think Griff’s original post and jimmy have it pretty much the way i see it.
Ourselves and Villa hitting a bit of form. Sunderland being the team that usually plummets from mid table into a relegation scrap. We could do with the league being 10 games longer. If it was i would see West Ham and Stoke being dragged into it and ourselves up in mid table.
As it is the QPR game is the key match, Even if we lose tomorrow that game will probably define both our destinies.
30 April 2013 at 8:01 pm #111624I’ll update the spreadsheet with all the results to date and post it back on my website later tonight. I’ll then post a link on here and we can all have another go.
Betcha can’t wait?
30 April 2013 at 8:11 pm #111627We can ;)

Newcastle, Sunderland and Villa all on 37 points now.
We just can’t afford to let the points gap get to 8. If that happens, we’d have 9 points to play for. The littlest slip up and it would be game over.
Could do with a couple of favours at the weekend, but its irrelevant if we don’t win ourselves. If it all went to plan, we could actually beat Swansea and leap frog a couple, or even all of them, before we go to the final.
So many permetations…we could be cup winners and relegated in the same weekend, we could stay up at Emirates. Or we could be confirmed down that night. Flippin crazy stuff.
30 April 2013 at 8:29 pm #111633I reckon that even last nights result wont mean Villa will be safe come 19 May and its going to be down to that game. I do think that Villa will only require a point to survive, whereas you’ll need a win.
Tonight I’m going to stick £20 on Wigan staying up if the odds are better than 3-1.

we win @ hawthorns and any one of toon, mackems or villa lose and we will be just 2 points behind that team with a game in hand……..same g/diff as toon at present and just 1 behind villa
cant’ believe the whole country was celebrating our relegation last night HAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH…….just shows you how many millions of whoppers we have pished off since 2005
The country must have forgotten that we’re in FA Cup Final and in europe (minimum final qualifier) and also still in the prem………..and made a profit……and play decent football………..and don’t spend ridiculous wages (qpr)………and are well run……..
LOVE IT….BRING ON THE BAGGIES…..I’LL BE THERE
(could be worse, could be wolves)

The most fookin annoying thing is , we could be yo-yo’ed by Notlob…just the thought of that makes my bile curdle !! .Doubt it…..i fancy watford for the play-offs
just think, all the modern day whoppers that want “traditional clubs” in the prem (leeds, sheff, forest etc) are going to end up with a welsh team, either one of the roughest cities in uk (hull) or a stop of point on a train line (watford)….or even the gay capital of the uk (brighton)
i bet they’re chuffed to bits
30 April 2013 at 10:45 pm #111646Yes, because the rest of the country sees Wigan as a very desirable place to visit, doesn’t it?
You seemed to have learned a new word today, namely “whopper” – how apt
30 April 2013 at 10:55 pm #111648Anonymous
so hull, watford, or brighton have the “history/stature” of a leeds/forest/sheff wed….?…….that’s how a whopper fan would look at it,(not me), and the previous post was meant in that manner……..pay attention mr griff, you’ve published a book after all
they “could” get rid of us and their wish of one of these “traditional” clubs, will not materialize for one simple reason…….forest/sheff/leeds are sheet at football (a 40k stadiumdoes not earn you the right of prem football)……..
well done to cardiff and any one of hull/watford etc………pish them modern day whoppers of even more
