3 April 2013 at 10:53 pm #107499Decent although it claims we are running at a loss but didn’t we make a profit last year?
3 April 2013 at 10:55 pm #107501The cheeky lone banana and dig at Whelan’s media credentials can be forgiven.
I remember when we first come up and everyone I spoke to was genuinely pleased of what we had achieved but nowadays it seems everyone has it in for us small and big clubs alike.
Jealousy is a bitter disease that can eat up a person :P
3 April 2013 at 11:24 pm #107503Not particularly well-informed.
At one time, Wigan were everybody’s second team. I suppose that if you keep upsetting the plans of other teams, you will lose that support.
Are Wigan any more unpopular than, say, Norwich or Stoke? I doubt it.

4 April 2013 at 1:43 am #107520It’s the best we’re going to get I think. It mentions that we survive on a low budget and it’s admirable but it also says that the only reason QPR get smaller crowds is the size of their ground. Probably true but absolutely no need to mention it.
What it should say is that if clubs like Derby, Leeds and the Sheffield clubs built for the future as opposed to opting for the quick fix then maybe they’d be in our position now.

4 April 2013 at 1:46 pm #107551Bleacher report is generally a load of Yank rubbish, spouted in a different tongue. Gave up reading it after a couple of articles last year.
