Is it still free for Latics season ticket holders?
6 April 2013 at 5:42 pm #107827mr bunbury you sound like something from Jayne Austin .anyway free for what janet
6 April 2013 at 5:45 pm #107828Didn’t think so, but I’m going along this afternoon. Runcorn Town have been knocking goals in for fun – they have a goal difference of +53.
I might ask about the S/T thing. Chorley do reduced price, I know.
Edit – Just Googled and there were one or two games in the past where they have offered reduced rates for S/T holders – but it isn’t a regular thing. To be honest, little clubs need the money and it’s not expensive. You even have to pay to watch Latics Reserves at Robin Park!
6 April 2013 at 6:04 pm #107830I think you can get in to most reserves games for free with a season ticket, didn’t know RPFC did any deals though… worth remembering
FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
6 April 2013 at 6:07 pm #107831Hi Jay
You can’t get into the Reserve (Development Team) games at Robin Park for free with an S/T. I queried it with Stuart, and although they’re free at the DW, because the Robin Park stadium isn’t Latics’, Wigan council charge admission.
I’m not sure what the situation is with Wigan RP, but it’s only some games they do a deal with. I don’t think today is one.
6 April 2013 at 8:56 pm #107839We play Huddersfield on Monday at The DW. Thats free to ST holders.
6 April 2013 at 9:46 pm #107848No offers at Robin Park. In fact the lady looked very puzzled when I asked :(
I went because I thought Runcorn Town might score a shedful of goals. It finished 1-0 to them.
The alternative that I rejected was St Helens Town v Maine Road at Ashton Town. That finished 3-4.
Don’t you just hate it when that happens!
6 April 2013 at 10:54 pm #107852Geez Garswood you’re keen for a game! I played in unibond league for years and thoughts of going to watch a game now at that level fill me with dread!
6 April 2013 at 11:20 pm #107857Hate to tell you this but North West Counties is BELOW Unibond. Runcorn Town are challenging for promotion to the Evo Stick (formerly Unibond) First Division. The game was at level 9 of the Pyramid.
I’m not desperate for a game – but I do enjoy my football. And I am willing to support grass roots. There was no added time for injuries, because there were none. Skills were certainly lacking, but you can’t complain about the commitment. Not a journeyman foreigner in sight either.
Would you prefer I sat in front of my PC watching streamed Premier League? ;)
